Neodymium magnets.  Be careful who you ship with when buying them from outside Canada.  If customs knows you are importing neodymium magnets they slap you with an extra fee.  When I ordered 40 dollars worth of magnets, the fee was 30$.  Turned a good deal to a shit deal.  Unpleasant surprise getting my package and having to go find some cash in my housecoat to pay the driver. UPS is bad.

How to save money on shipping with Canada Post

If you are sending a small package (one that will fit inside a mail box), you can print up the shipping label from home.  This allows you to grossly underestimate the size and weight of the package.  This can reduce shipping costs by half.  Saves a huge amount!

sent Monday arrived Friday.  The information only showed up on the tracking website on wednesday night.  I guess there is no tracking while it is in the USA.
Good for you NewEgg.ca,  very fast shipment, unlike NCIX which took three days to ship my stuff after getting my order.

Vanilla Visa Prepaid Card Activation in Canada

Hey there world,  just so you know, when you get a vanilla visa prepaid card in canada you Can NOT activate it on the US website...

How long does it take to get something shipped from Canada to the US with border crossings and such?  Please leave me posts of your experiences with dates.  Currently waiting on a Purolator Express shipment from California to Saskatchewan, sent on Monday. The estimate was 2 - 5 business days.
